Full week ahead for the CheckRayz Poker Tour. We are running two leagues or tours at once, one at Bugsy's Club and the other at Poker.com.
Here's a bit more about how each shall work:
Bugsy's Club
This league will play every Monday night at 8pm EDT from now until the end of June. The details have not yet been finalized on this league as to what the grand prizes are, however, I will have this information finalized and posted on the CheckRayz site early this week. (There is a new affiliate manager I am working with, and he and I are focusing on getting things moving sooner rather than later so that we are able to maximize the number of games we're running per week).
This week's tournament takes place, as mentioned, wull play out Monday 4/16 at 8pm EDT. The password for this tournament is on the CheckRayz tourney schedule and passwords page. New players are welcome and may download the Bugsy's Club Poker Room software here. The tournament can be found in the private tab of the Bugsy's Club software.
CheckRayz Leaderboard Tour at Poker.com
This poker tour plays every Wednesday night and Thursday night (at 9pm EDT) from now until the end of June. The tournaments can be found in the Tournament area, private tab and then scheduled the scheduled tab.
The results will be tracked on the CheckRayz Leaderboard and that leaderboard should be up and running very shortly (Monday-Tuesday). The complete prize package has not yet been determined, however, first place will receive $100.
This week, we have on Weds 4-18 at 9pm EDT a $2+.20 freezeout and on Thurs 4-19 at 9pm EDT a $2+.20 rebuy.
All passwords are on the CheckRayz tourney Schedule and passwords page. Those who have yet to download poker.com can do so here.

CheckRayz Leaderboard Poker Tour Back on Track
The engines are revving up on the CheckRayz Leaderboard Poker Tour. While the first quarter of 2007 was rather slow in terms of games at CheckRayz, Q@ '07 promises to be filled with chip slingin', card playin action.

Our CheckRayz Leaderboard Poker Tour kicks off this Wednesday (4/11 at 9pm)at Poker.com for a $1+.10 NL Hold'em event. Rebuys will be permitted through the end of the first hour and the add-on will occur at the end of hour one.
We'll follow that up with a $1+.10 Pot Limit Omaha Event on Thursday (4/12 at 9pm) at poker.com.

Points for the leaderboard will be assigned as follows:
1. Inverse of finishing position will be assigned (i.e. - ten players, first place receives ten points, 10th place receives 1 point).
2. Bonus points will be awarded for cashing in these tourneys (i.e. - win $23 = 23 points awarded).
This particular tour will be held EXCLUSIVELY at Poker.com (download here - click). There may be, however, additional CheckRayz circuit events, so stay tuned for those. Complete rules and details for how the leaderboard works "should" be posted on the CheckRayz site this week.

CheckRayz are holding a private Free Entry Poker Tournament at Poker.com on 3/13/07, which is scheduled to start at 9pm Poker.com Time. The tournament is a free entry poker tournament, however, you do need a password to join the tournament. The password can be found by logging into the CheckRayz website and going to the tournament schedule page, where the CheckRayz Tournament Passwords are all located.
From there, download Poker.com if you've not yet done so (and of course register). You can click the link on the CheckRayz site to download the poker.com poker room or you can download Poker.com here. Appologies to all for the difficulties I'm having on my email newsletter feed. I'm hoping to get the kinks worked out really soon.
As a result, the Poker4ever freeroll will again be rescheduled.
Additionally, CheckRayz will be holding a free entry tournament, in which the winner will receive a token to the Poker.com Sunday Guarantee tournament.
This tourney is scheduled for 13 March 2007 with a 9pm start time. Registration is now open. Let's make this a big event. The more interest we show in this tournament and supporting this great poker room, the higher the likelyhood that we'll have more events in the future.

CheckRayz Updates...
Over the next month or so, we'll be undergoing some changes at CheckRayz. Some will be noticable, others may not be. Please be patient with us while we enact these changes.
One of the changes will be to embrace the blogger and associated technology to deliver newsletters to our members. Previously, I was spending money to send emails and track them. My money can be better spent, in all honesty. This method of delivery is much less expensive and is better suited to my needs. Plus, it's on the blogger network, thus coming second nature to me.
I'll still only anticipate sending emails out once a week, tops...
This is, in my opinion, step 1 in improving service from my side to everyone...
